This gorgeous '68 is for sale for $29,900 or about the same price as a Honda Accord coupe v6. It's been repainted and updated with new audio equipment, and the engine has over 100,000 miles on it. What do you think, Oppo?

I believe those had 4 wheel drum brakes.

Nah, there are plenty of other cars I'd rather have for $30k. It's a good example though, and doesn't strike me as too overpriced.

Is it a better buy for a Jalop than the V6 Accord? Absolutely. Is it the best $30,000 you could spend? Not in a long shot. It's got a lot of cool and a lot of displacement, but I'm still not convinced that it's $30,000 worth of cool and displacement.

This at GR Auto Gallery? Great selection they have there. Love the G-Wagens and air cooled 911's.

I do love the 4-4-2, and that seems about right for a dealer sold car.
If I was in the market for a muscle car I'd get this one, or maybe a '67 Pontiac Firebird I've got no idea how much they are).

That dealer has a habit of overpricing everything in their inventory, and this case is no different, at least by $5k.

In high school there were two of these floating around. I had a small block Chevy Chevelle. I could pull on the 442s for about an 1/8 of a mile and then they would pass me. They had a much better pull at top end, they could really go. After some more mods which were aimed at traction I could stay ahead a bit longer but those big blocks were pretty nice. also everything costs more for a big block.
This car is a part of my early car years and I would get it if it was a little less expensive (and I was not a parent). Oh and they don't turn so hot, so there is that.
